Nichiren Daishonin states,
“Because people propagate [the Law],
both people and the Law are
respectworthy.”(*)
Those who dedicate themselves to sharing
the humanistic philosophy of Buddhism
with others for the sake of creating a
peaceful and flourishing society are all
supremely respectworthy Buddhas.
Let’s achieve resounding victory with
pride and joy!
(*) From “Hyaku Rokka Sho” (The One Hundred and Six Comparisons), GZ 856 (not included in WND, vols. 1 or 2) Full quote: “The Law does not spread by itself: because people propagate it, both people and the Law are respectworthy.”

Speaking of practitioners of Buddhism,
Nichiren Daishonin states,
“They should not forget the debts
of gratitude they owe to their parents,
their teachers, and their country.”(*)
Having a heart of appreciation and gratitude
is the driving force for unlimited progress.
Let’s boldly lead our lives as champions
of the people!

―WORDS OF THE WEEK―
Daimoku infused with the vow for
kosen-rufu enables us to manifest
immeasurable hope and a powerful life
condition.
As Nichiren Daishonin urges,
“Each of [us] should summon up the
courage of a lion king”(*) and
advance with lionhearted courage.
Let’s celebrate the month of Soka Gakkai’s
founding with a jubilant victory cheer!
