Speaking of practitioners of Buddhism,
Nichiren Daishonin states,
“They should not forget the debts
of gratitude they owe to their parents,
their teachers, and their country.”(*)
Having a heart of appreciation and gratitude
is the driving force for unlimited progress.
Let’s boldly lead our lives as champions
of the people!

―WORDS OF THE WEEK―
Daimoku infused with the vow for
kosen-rufu enables us to manifest
immeasurable hope and a powerful life
condition.
As Nichiren Daishonin urges,
“Each of [us] should summon up the
courage of a lion king”(*) and
advance with lionhearted courage.
Let’s celebrate the month of Soka Gakkai’s
founding with a jubilant victory cheer!

By meeting people and engaging in
conversation, we can advance kosen-rufu.
Let’s cherish old friends as well as
create new friendships!
Joy is born of such efforts.
